The Mozambique LNG project has successfully concluded another impactful Local Content initiative with the completion of the CapacitaMoz Bootcamp in Maputo. Over the course of five intensive days, from 6 to 10 O

ctober 2025, 40 young Mozambican entrepreneurs received specialized training designed to strengthen and grow their newly established businesses.

The Bootcamp, part of the broader CapacitaMoz platform, provided a dynamic environment for learning, collaboration, and innovation. Participants engaged in hands-on sessions, exchanged ideas, and built meaningful connections that highlighted the remarkable potential of Mozambique’s youth.

“This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering local talent and creating opportunities for sustainable development,” said Edna Simbine, Local Content Manager at the TotalEnergies-led Mozambique LNG project.

“Through CapacitaMoz, we aim to build a future where Mozambican youth are equipped with the skills and support, they need to thrive,” she added.

The CapacitaMoz platform is a cornerstone of Mozambique LNG’s Local Content strategy, offering capacity-building programs that empower Mozambicans across various sectors. By investing in youth entrepreneurship, the project continues to generate a positive multiplier effect that contributes to economic growth and community resilience.
