Resettlement
Mozambique LNG Empowering Communities with Sustainable Energy

Quitunda solarization initiative
As part of its commitment to enhancing community well-being, the Mozambique LNG Project is actively improving living conditions in Quitunda village. A cornerstone of this effort is the installation of solar panels in every resettled home, delivering reliable, sustainable energy while contributing to reduce households’ electricity costs.
Today, all 643 resettled families in Quitunda village live in homes powered by solar energy, marking a significant step toward a greener and more resilient future for the community.
Congratulations to all teams involved for the collective dedication and commitment to continue delivering lasting impact for the local communities.
