#SheSupplies – Promoting Women‑Led Businesses in the Oil & Gas Sector

As part of its Local Content strategy and the celebrations marking Mozambican Women’s Month, the Mozambique LNG Project recently organized #SheSupplies, an engagement initiative dedicated to Mozambican women entrepreneurs and women‑led businesses.

The initiative provided a dedicated platform to strengthen dialogue and share practical information on how local businesses led by women can access opportunities within the Project’s supply chain. During the session, participants were briefed on procurement processes and requirements, while also openly discussing challenges commonly faced by women‑led enterprises operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

The event focused on:

  • Clarifying procurement procedures and expectations
  • Addressing key barriers to participation
  • Providing practical guidance on supplying goods and services to the Project

More than an information‑sharing session, #SheSupplies represents a concrete action by Mozambique LNG to strengthen local business capabilities, reduce barriers to participation, and promote inclusive economic growth within the energy sector.
